Hola, I’m Sofía.

I have over ten years of experience working in teams addressing sexual health and reproductive justice in varying contexts around the globe.

I am a certified prenatal and postnatal yoga teacher and a faculty member at the Community and Public Health Program at City College of San Francisco.

I hold a Master of Public Health from Brown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish from Oklahoma State University. I am currently pursuing a License in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) as a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology candidate at Antioch University with a focus in Somatic Psychotherapy and Latinx Mental Health.

I am a published author and fluently read, write, and speak in Spanish and English. I enjoy surfing, hiking, writing, cooking vegan food with my partner, spending time with my guinea pigs, and traveling with my friends and family. My pronouns are she, ella, they, elle.

I am from Rosario, Argentina which sits on the Charrúa and Moqoit territories and I currently reside in Berkeley, California which sits on the territory of xučyun (Huichin), the ancestral and unceded land of the Chochenyo speaking Ohlone people, the successors of the sovereign Verona Band of Alameda County.
